Our Trading Post carries a large selection of
Native American authentic pottery: Navajo, Paiute, Tohono O'odham,
and Pueblo (Santa Domingo, Jemez, and Acoma). We specialize in
carrying Anasazi black and white and coiled, replica pottery by a
Utah artist. We also have cups, goblets, bowls, vases, ristras,
trivets, and wall and garden art made by Utah and Mexican artists.
Our Story Teller pottery has special fascination for both young and
old.
Nearly 2000 years ago an ancient people
inhabited Southwest America. Long after they disappeared the Navajo
and other tribes found remains of their civilization and called them
ANASAZI or The Ancient Ones. The Anasazi expressed their ancient art
in pottery. The search for beauty was alive in the hearts of
prehistoric people as it is in ours
